Birmingham Heritage Forum members are organisations concerned with collections, historic sites, museums, galleries, churches, gardens, and visitor services, within the Birmingham area.
The Heritage Forum was established in 1991 by Birmingham City Council. Since 1997 it has been an independent society run by a committee of volunteers.
Members are keen to share their enthusiasm for Birmingham’s heritage and to encourage interest in it, especially among children and young people who will be the guardians of our heritage in future. Many members of the group participate in Heritage Open Days in September.
Members meet regularly to share news and ideas.
